Jo and I headed to the movies today at Bondi Junction to see the new Meryl Streep flick "Julie & Julia", a movie funnily enough about blogging. And French cooking.
When I got home I thought I'd check my blog as it felt like a lifetime ago that I had updated it with a new post and was a bit surprised to see that my last post was exactly one year ago today! Today's post however will the first of more to come as I'll be resurrecting my 'old' blog. A new look and new pointless musings - hurrah!
The movie was enjoyable - Meryl Streep steels the show as the slightly eccentric cook Julia Child and the woven tale of two true stories from past and present is well done. The cinema was full on Sunday afternoon of many people who looked like they hadn't been to see a movie in a long time, attracting a wide audience at nearly $17 a ticket is no mean feat these days!
